Shudder’s annual “Halfway to Halloween” celebration is back for April 2023, and this year’s celebration features a killer lineup of original films and series.
The premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural will debut a new season of the popular horror anthology Slasher: Ripper on Apr. 6, starring Eric McCormack, a new season of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs starts Apr. 21, The Boulet Brothers’ Halfway to Halloween Special on Apr. 25, the Shudder Original film From Black premieres Apr. 28, starring Anna Camp, and the Apr. 14 streaming debut of Kids vs. Aliens which takes place on Halloween, plus new additions to Shudder’s library of the best in horror.
Halloween/horror related limited edition exclusive prints debuting at WonderCon in Anaheim March 24-26 2023 from Spoke Art available at their booth #1109.

Scream VI one of the biggest horror movies of 2023 is slashing its way into theaters nationwide beginning Thursday night, March 9, brought to us by Spyglass Media and Paramount Pictures. I'll be watching sometime next week. The tagline states, "This is unlike any other Ghostface."
In the brand "New York New Rules" movie, “The Scream saga continues with the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter in New York City.” The film, either in part or whole, also takes place on Halloween.
Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, are back again from directing 2022's sequel with James Vanderbilt & Guy Busick co-writing the upcoming 2023 sequel.
Returning actors/characters include Hayden Panettiere (“Kirby Reed”), Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”), Melissa Barrera (“Sam”), Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Mindy”), Mason Gooding (“Chad”), and Jenna Ortega (“Tara”) alongside new cast Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving. Neve Campbell will not return to the film series this time.
