A VHS recording of someone just flipping through channels described as "a taste of what Halloween night used to be like on cable in the 1980's." Features Halloween and horror movie commercials, network bumpers, trailers and music videos.
The video below is my edited version, I took the original YouTube video uploaded by Josh Hadley and compressed the audio so all the clips have the same volume, the original video can be found here. View more great videos at Josh Hadley's YouTube account.
Well, that was just downright awesome! Thank you for sharing. I am glad he ran the gamut, from old to new. And included Friday the 13th: The Series! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Joe, I love this video myself, even though I don't know some of the movies featured. I never got into watching F13:TS, but I liked the Hellowe'en episode I saw on Youtube once. I preferred watching Freddy's Nightmares back then :)
DeleteI watched Freddy's Nightmares sporadically back in the day, and it was okay, but I loved F13:TS. Still do.
DeleteI caught the complete run of Freddy when El Rey Network re-ran it last year/this year. It... is very late 80s, surreal, dreamy stuff. Not for everyone. LOL
I saw an ad for that marathon but I missed it because I don't have the El Rey Network.
