The classic Made-for-TV movie Dark Night of the Scarecrow premiered October 24, 1981 on the CBS Network's Saturday Night Movies. Below is a VHS recording of the full film with commercials as aired on WKYT-TV in Lexington, Kentucky. (Technical video problems were from the Local broadcast).
We remember seeing this one when it premiered....
ReplyDelete... one scene that stuck in my young mind for years... was when he killed the other "conspirator" with a shovel .. when he drew back again the poor guy's bloody hat was still stuck to the shovel... rather gruesome effect for a TV show...
Yeah that is a creepy scene and awesome movie. The first and one of the few good Scarecrow slashers.
